| If I could go back and change anything, I'd have never bought my Z until I purchased my first house. It's hard to own a Z and not spend a lot of money on mods, let alone maintenance when at this stage of your life establishing home-ownership or at least some form of investment should be priority number one. If I were you, I would take that stipend and put into either a house downpayment or an investment you're comfortable with. I'd buy a beater until you're established in a career and a home. That being said a good-condition well-maintained NA Z is fun daily driver that isn't necessarily expensive to own if you keep up with the maintenance, don't go crazy with mods, and don't drive large distances (gas mileage isn't the best). This is your decision, and I don't pretend my advice is for everyone or is the end-all to good advice, but you *did* solicit it =). Here's a buyer's guide fish. Enjoy.
